My current vehicle

Highly modified for the task at hand to get into and out of jungles, sandy beaches, climb the Andes, explore and take the path not taken. I’ll also live comfortably wherever the roads of Central and South America take us.

My Overlanding vehicle of choice

I have traveled with minimal amenities, and decided this time around, I wanted some comforts of home, since I’ll be living in this for the while.

As of the summer of 2019 the Toyota was replaced by a vintage Land Rover, pictured above. Currently it’s been kitted for overland travel. More coming soon.

My search for a 2008 Toyota Tundra ended with a trip from South Florida to Easton Maryland. I specifically wanted a Double Cab Long bed with 4×4 and a 5.7 V8. TheTruck Camper took me in another direction. After spending months searching I found what I was looking for. A 2010 Palomino 1500 with A/C, wet bath, refrigerator, three burner stove, queen sized bed and more. We’ll be posted more about it as we prepare the truck as well as the camper for our trip. Stay tuned.
